Summary:
This position supports the sales team to exceed their annual sales targets by increasing the usage of services to prospective and existing clients within the energy industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
Assist the Regional Sales Directors by providing subject matter expertise to assist in the Solution Selling process with existing and prospective new clients.Act as a pre-sales "project manager" for the Business Process Review (BPR) with prospective clients.
Ensure that accurate and timely information is captured and provided to all the required Transzap "internal clients" ? sales executive, implementation development, vendor services and product development.
Work with the sales team to incorporate the BPR into an effective and profitable services proposal.
Identify, develop, and manage the demonstration of services for Oildex products.
Develop workflow/ usage scenarios to aid in the effective demonstration of services and to position the strengths of Transzap's product capabilities versus the competition.
Work with sales, product marketing, and product development teams to provide accurate and timely input into the product development process.
Act as a liaison between product development and the field sales team by communicating product requirements and usage scenarios identified from prospect and client interactions.
Develop rapport at all levels of the client organization - departmental through line of business and CXO.
Identify and meet regularly with the VP Production, CFO/CAO, Controller, AP Manager, JIB Manager, Revenue Manager, and IT personnel in each of the key accounts in your assigned territory.
Maintain current knowledge of Transzap's products and service offerings and key developments affecting oil and gas operating companies.
Effectively demonstrate each of the primary Transzap service offerings: Spendworks and JV offerings -JIB, ORC, CDEX, and understand how these services are utilized in the client environment and how they are differentiated from a competitor's offerings.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Oil & Gas Upstream domain knowledge helpful in the following areas: Procurement, Financial, ERP, eInvoicing, Workflow, Technology solutions.
All aspects of Microsoft Office.
Public speaking.
Education/Experience:
2-4 year degree, sales experience preferred.
Background in oil and gas upstream technology, financial processing and/or procurement process helpful.
