Solution Architect Skire

This role is responsible for the definition and delivery of the technical solution for enterprise wide Unifier implementations.

As part of the delivery, the Solution Architect will define the solution architecture and then through prototyping sessions will design the solution and subsequently be responsible for the deployment.

The Solution Architect must demonstrate the ability to translate business requirements into a technical solution that takes into account usability and customer adoption.

Responsibilities:

- Manage technical aspects of software implementations from concept to deployment and acceptance
- Business process analysis, articulation of Skires product/technical capabilities, data migration and project management (meeting customer expectations on-time and on-budget).
- Act as a strategic partner between customers/user community and the technical applications development, sales, and product and implementation staff
- Drive process improvement through business process definition and system alignment
- Meeting and presenting with all levels of an organization from CxO to Data Entry clerk.
- Manage multiple projects in a high-pressure environment.
- Travel approx. 50 of the time and as required basis.

Qualifications:

- Proven track record working with and managing/deploying enterprise business solutions.
- Strong in-person presentation skills and experience are a MUST.
- Must be able to articulate complex concepts to audiences of varying perception levels.
- Good knowledge of UI, Web application layout, and aesthetic appreciation.
- Working knowledge of web technology and databases are required. Primavera or other large scale project management experience or construction software such as AutoCAD is welcome.
- Experience of Construction Project Management, Facilities & Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance, Resource Management and Space Management applications are welcome.
- Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Search engine, & MS Project is required.
- The candidate should also have a high level of attention to detail.
- Must demonstrate a strong ability and initiative to learn.
- Must be able to "think on your feet."
- Bachelor's Degree required; preferred Masters Degree (i.e. MBA) but not required.

Experience:

- 10 years of experience as consulting lead and/or business or systems analysis. Skires Unifier and uDesigner experiences preferred.
- Concepts of Object Oriented Programming or other software project lifecycle practices and/or Project Management experiences.
- Set objectives for project/implementation goals and monitor project to achieve those goals. Provide input to management on setting broader specification and implementation processes
