Solution Architect Operative

The Solution Architect is the Operatives engagement owner for a clients implementation and adoption. The Solution Architect must deploy a consultative approach to match customer requirements to Operative software, service, and consulting offerings. The Solution Architect is the trusted advisor to the client who understands our clients business and the best practices of the leading companies in the market. Ideal candidates have previous experience working with publishers, agencies, or technology providers for online advertising. This client-facing role must confidently work with all levels of customer organizations tailoring their communication to meet the needs of various stakeholders including C-level decision makers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Sales
Earn the status of trusted advisor and SME with prospects, clients, and colleagues
Provide technical expertise around Operative software and services both internally and externally
Offer domain expertise around ad management technologies, price and inventory systems, data integration, process optimization, and industry best-practices
Collaborate with prospects in developing a solution strategy and statement of work during the sales process
Engagements
Develops and maintains positive client relationships through excellent customer engagement skills, expert product knowledge and understanding of clients business needs and requirements.
Performs thorough analysis of the client's business needs/requirements in order to put together and execute against an implementation plan that best meets the client's goals.
Advise and manage Solution Consultants who are the primary points of contact through each of the phases of product or service implementation (Sales Hand Off, Client Kick Off, Discovery & Requirements, Dashboard Configuration, Data Collection, Data Upload, Training, Testing, Launch, and Support).
Provides timely feedback to Product, Sales, and leadership teams regarding implementation status and challenges.
Coordinates with Operative internal teams (Product Management and Sales) to represent clients existing and future product needs.
Recommends industry and Operative solutions best practices to clients to ensure adoption.
Account Management
Evangelizing Operative products and services
Identifying opportunities for client growth
Requirements
Minimum of Bachelors Degree
Minimum 8 years of Ad Operations, Consulting, and/or Client Services experience working with Publishers
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience in leading small to medium-sized project teams including ability to negotiate scope, develop project plan, develop analysis framework for an engagement
Experience with the implementation of one or more technologies is a strong plus
One ore more digital Ad Servers DFP, OAS, AdTech, FreeWheel
CRM Software such as Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics.
