Solution Architect Serus

Job responsibilities includes, but not limited to:
Lead discussions with the Customer IT and Business Groups to understand the requirements and proposed solution set
Lead the business consulting and re-engineering efforts resulting in the development of a Blueprint that defines the proposed solution set in the customers environment and in line with that customers Statement of Work.
Development of a Implementation Plan and timeline in support of the defined Blueprint
Define customer requirements and key project milestones and manage the delivery to the customer
Conduct user training workshops and contribute to the project and product documentation.
Define the integration blueprint with customer?s ERP and manage the delivery of the interfaces.
Contribute to refining the Serus implementation methodology and processes
Work with Development and QA Teams to ensure requirements and features are understood, delivered in timely manner and to the customer?s satisfaction.
Work with Adapter development team to define specific project related data transformation needs and own the quality of the product delivered.
Work with Support team to ensure a quality transition from Implementation phase to Support phase. This includes defining the transition timelines and all the way through handover to support.
Work with IT teams to ensure that software builds and patches are promoted to the right environments at the right time.
Contribute to the product roadmap by bringing together the best practices seen elsewhere.
Collaborate with development teams in assembling internal and external software releases
Contribute to pre-sales activities, such as customer workshops, demos, business analysis, consulting and review of SOW etc.
Qualification and experience:
Experience in a client facing role as part of a professional service organization.
Experience in deploying ERP (SAP or Oracle) or MES (Camstar) or APS (e.g. i2, Adexa, APO, ASCP) is a must.
Domain expertise in Operations and Supply Chain is a must.
Industry Experience in Semiconductor and High Tech a plus Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science and 6 years of equivalent work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Deep knowledge of complete life cycle of application development and deployment Familiarity with Database languages (Oracle, SQL-Server) and Linux/shell scripting to the extent required for debugging purposes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required APICS, PMP certifications a plus
Willing to travel 25% of the time
