The Solution Consultant role will act as the trusted advisor to Clients who have engaged and are examining solutions with Volusion?s enterprise ecommerce product, Mozu. Ideal candidates will have experience working in pre-sales technical assistance role, completing demonstrations and presentations, as well as creating brand and technical alignment.
The Solution Consultant must be able to communicate Volusion?s product value to a range of audiences including business stakeholders, technical users, and senior leadership typically at the C or VP Level. Successful Solution Sales Consultants will identify technical and business issues proactively and engage product and sales teams to create solutions that exceed customer expectations and drive further engagement of Volusion products and services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Thorough understanding of the enterprise sales cycle with a focus on Volusion product, technologies and our customers business processes
Communicate solution messaging at both a technical and business level
Create and present presentations to clients
Detail Volusion solution insights according to client need
Ability to understand business and technical problems and create potential solution alignment with the Volusion Product offering
Communicate and Collaborate with internal teams including Product, Sales, and Marketing
Remain current on industry trends, events, and evolving technology
Expected Travel 50-75%
BA/BS required in Computer Science/Business or related field
3+ years? experience as a Sales Engineer or Solution Consultant working with a SaaS based solution
Experience in ecommerce or revenue generating applications highly desired
Stellar sales presentation skills
Ability to identify business needs and translate them into technical solutions
Excellent written and oral communication as well as organizational skills
Sharp, self-motivated and skilled creating alignment, value and trust with clients
Experience with Salesforce is a plus
Must posses technical knowledge in the following areas: SaaS platforms, REST APIs, and Reporting Services.
