Solution Consultant PivotLink
Pivotlink?s Solution Consulting is responsible for prospect sales presentations (business & technical), solution scoping, custom solution documentation (RFP, custom technical & business docs), and competitive aspects of the Pivotlink sale. Solution Consultants must be both solution sales capable and technically savvy. The Solution Consultant must be comfortable presenting to Fortune 500 executives, and convincing business and technical prospects (e.g. CMO/VP Marketing/Merchandising or Senior IT leaders) of the business and technical merits of the Pivotlink solution.
A Solution Consultant must have:
Outstanding problem solving skills, including the ability to meet a business requirement with a technical solution using the Pivotlink product set
Ability & energy to thrive in a chaotic, high-growth, fast-paced startup environment
Strong communication skills both internally and externally to drive results
Experience selling to business and technical executives at Fortune 500 companies
A minimum of 5 years experience as a solution consultant/engineer for a software company (preferably Applications that are web-based or ASP)
Experience in data warehousing, SQL, BI, and analytical reporting applications
Experience mapping solutions to RFP requirements
Excellent persuasion, presentation and writing skills
Superior solution scoping abilities, using our existing solution framework and influencing new product development
Ability to present technical aspects of our solution with confidence to C-Level eCommerce Executives
Strong knowledge of Web technologies (eCommerce Platforms, HTML, XML, JavaScript, Proxy Servers, HTTP/S, FTP, Web Security, Data Warehousing, Privacy, Reliable/Scalable/Available Architectures)
Bachelors degree is a must; graduate degree is a plus
Must be willing to travel
Useful relevant experience:
Ecommerce related, Database, and/or Direct Marketing solution selling experience to Retail, Travel, Finance, B2B, Content (publishing, entertainment, etc) based Fortune 1000 companies. Other experiences in BI / CRM / Enterprise Software a plus.
Effective and proven successful enterprise level, solution based selling process and strategy
Effective development and delivery of presentation skills, which articulate Pivotlink?s message to technical and non-technical audiences
In addition, the following qualities are a plus:
In-depth knowledge of the web analytics space, CRM, Business Intelligence, and target marketing
Programming experience with eCommerce Platforms, HTTP, HTML, XML, XSLT, JavaScript
Programming experience with Java, C or other 3rd generation languages
