As a Senior Solution Consultant you will be at the forefront of the cutting edge products Vertafore brings to the Independent Insurance Agency market.You will be joining a dynamic team of presenters who come from diverse backgrounds including sales, consulting, and technical with the ideal candidate combining all of these skills to crisply articulate the value of the Vertafore solutions to our customers.
The Solution Consulting team is an integral part of the sales team. They provide innovative presentations and prepare diligently to understand the customer and their needs as it relates to the processes on which Vertafore can have a positive impact. It is all about value and working on a team that strives to be the best they can be and exceed our customers' expectations with industry and product knowledge. The team works with new and existing customers and supports the Inside, Field, and Strategic sales teams.
The Senior Solution consultant is a rock solid presenter and product expert who will apply their experience to:
Be the subject matter expert in their specificed area of expertise
Advanced presentation skills including ability to sell value over feature function
Ability to learn new products and processes in very short period of time
Well rounded presentation, technical, and business skills
Insurance industry knowledge and experience
Articulate and polished in how they conduct presentations and discovery sessions with customers
Ability to uncover value through the discovery process and align with the solutions Vertafore has to offer
Work in a team environment with sales team members in a supporting role to the sales team
Work with Product Management to help define product requirements collected from field experience
Work with multiple stakeholders to develop competitive positioning
5 + years pre-sales experience in enterprise software or related field
Insurance experience preferred
Solution Selling certification or similar credentials
Technical skills including Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions and/or web based solutions
Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence solutions
Able to perform and present in high stress situations
Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent experience
80% travel, all domestic
