Solution Consultant, Sales Operative
Job Description
The Solution Consultant works closely with our Account Executive team, Account Management Team and Professional Services Team on developing business across all Operative product lines. The Solution Consultant must deploy a consultative approach to uncover customer needs and map them to Operative software, service, and consulting offerings in a differentiated way. The Solution Consultant is the technical expert/advisor in all phases of the sales cycle. Ideal candidates have previous experience working with publishers, agencies, or technology providers for online advertising, CRM, or related software applications. This client-facing role must confidently work with all levels of customer organizations tailoring the messaging and value-proposition to meet the needs of various stakeholders including C-level decision makers.

Job Responsibilities
Earn the status of trusted advisor and SME with prospects, clients, and colleagues
Provide technical expertise around Operative software and services both internally and externally
Offer domain expertise around ad management technologies, price and inventory systems, data integration, process optimization, and industry best-practices
Provide guidance and support on overall deal strategy
Configure demonstration environment tailored to customers needs
Perform systems demonstrations in-person and via online-meetings
As necessary, problem-solve in real-time during sales presentations
Aid sellers in responding to RFPs and write Statements of Work
Provide feedback to Operatives product management team on client and industry trends
Requirements
Rock star
Minimum 5 years of Technical Sales, Consulting, and/or Client Services experience
Knowledge of process and data integration applications SFA, CRM, ERP
Creative thinking and critical research and planning skills
Experience in some aspect of advertising (publisher, agency, technology provider)
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
Proven ability to influence without authority
Aware of the difference between the what and the how of business requirement gathering
Bachelors Degree
Must be able to travel approx. 20 of the time.
