Xactly Corporation is seeking a talented, high energy Solution Consultant to join our growing sales team. We are seeking a pre-sales professional with proven track record in software sales to midmarket and enterprise firms. The Solution Consultant will work with sales team to support sales engagements and provide domain expertise.
Xactly?s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution allows companies to more intelligently compensate their sales teams through better visibility, more flexible design, and sophisticated analytics. At the core of Xactly?s solution is a rules-based compensation automation engine. Through this solution, sales teams have full visibility, in near real-time, to their compensation. Additional tools allow companies to run detailed analytics to identify outliers, spot trends, and model improved plan designs to help ensure alignment of sales behavior with corporate goals.
? Develop a firm understanding of customer needs, pain points and requirements around the
sales compensation process and align Xactly solutions to fulfill the needs and
requirements and eliminate the pain
? Deliver application demonstrations of the solution?s out-of-the-box capabilities
? Design and deliver customized solution demonstrations using Xactly?s web-based plan
creation and report design tools
? Provide domain expertise around Sales Performance Management (SPM), including:
variable compensation design/ automation, team performance reporting/analytics, and
compensation scenario modeling
? Assist in the creation of RFP and RFI responses
? 3+ years in the software industry as a pre-sales consultant/engineer with strong track
record of success
? Ability to present to an audience in person and virtually
? Ability to multi-task with projects across several prospect accounts
? This position does not require technical or programming experience, but a working
knowledge of software applications is required. Experience with other applications or
even prior work with complex spreadsheets is sufficient.
? Proficient in the use of standard business tools including PowerPoint, Excel,
Salesforce.com and WebEx.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills.
? Some travel required.
Preferred Knowledge & Skill Sets:
? Prior experience with SaaS solutions
? Prior experience with rules-based applications
? Basic knowledge of CRM, ERP, payroll and/or finance systems
? Variable compensation related experience or working knowledge of day-to-day obstacles
faced in compensation
? Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or other credential
