Solution Director Vendavo
Vendavo, Inc. has an opening for Solution Director in Mountain View, CA.
Job Duties: Responsible for designing and delivering solutions using proprietary price management software products and other enterprise products and technologies. Responsible for running a services and support team with responsibility for developing proposals and contracts (SOWs); creating service offerings and packages; developing best practice content for pricing technical and business process solutions for enterprise customers; and overseeing delivery to the customers and managing profit & loss for the organization; leading solution design; developing applications on top of platforms; ERP and platform configuration implementation utilizing J2EE technologies, J2EE application servers and middleware software, SAP and Oracle; integration design and development using ETL tools, SOAP and middleware; resolving complex business and application problems; managing project teams; providing technical leadership managing and implementing projects with large, multi-divisional companies; and writing functional and technical design specifications. Extensive travel to client sites throughout the US.
Requires: Bachelors degree in CS, CE or EE plus seven years of experience in job offered or in applications software engineering.
Education or experience background must include: Requires 7 years progressive technical experience in enterprise IT solutions development including at least 3 years exp in technical leadership or management of IT solutions projects for multidivisional enterprises and in developing comprehensive solutions for enterprise pricing business practices in high-technology, industrial products and distributions industries; experience must also include experience in object and data modeling; J2EE/Java and web-based application development; integration design and development; Oracle database and application server (Weblogic, Netweaver, or Websphere); middleware; XML and SQL; travel required up to 25%.
