iModules is the leading provider of online engagement and communication tools to the education market. We partner with some of the largest fundraising organizations in the world, including The University of Texas, Penn State, Rutgers, Notre Dame and University of Cambridge. We are seeking motivated and experienced professionals to join our team. These individuals will use their industry-leading technical and communication skills to assist in selling our software platform, Encompass, to the education market.
Solution Engineers are the "technical win" for the company in generating new client business. Working in a team environment, they win over the technology decision makers and demonstrate superior product knowledge throughout the Sales process. Successful engineers establish great rapport with business and technical audiences to put their concerns at ease and effectively answer their questions.
Responsibilities:
Lead the technical engagement for new sales opportunities.
Prepare and deliver engaging, relevant and solution-oriented product demonstrations.
Develop and maintain support systems to increase efficiency in the sales process?i.e. demo environments, competitor knowledge bases, scope of work documents, etc.
Manage technical responses to request for proposals (RFPs).
Introduce new product enhancements from the field into the agile development process.
Interface with technology ecosystem partners to successfully deploy integrated solutions.
Collaborate across departments to improve product knowledge and ensure successful client implementations.
Qualifications/experience:
Previous experience in the software industry as a sales or solutions engineer preferred.
Strong knowledge of Internet/web technologies and technical aptitude?i.e., n-tier system architectures, CRM, CMS, email marketing, e-commerce, authentication, social media, etc.
Previous experience delivering technical demonstrations to customers.
Must be comfortable working in a sales-driven environment.
Web development and/or database experience a plus.
PC skills, including Word, Excel and other MS Office applications required.
Bachelor's degree required.
Compensation and benefits:
Total compensation includes base salary + commission. Medical, dental, disability, life and vision benefits. 401k plan. Company laptop provided.
Position Opening:
Immediate. These individuals will be based at iModules' corporate headquarters in Overland Park, Kansas. This position requires approximately 20-30 percent travel.
