We are hiring a dedicated Solution Specialist to support our growth and the launch of our new Software as a Service offering called Netuitive Cloud. Netuitive Cloud will allow IT Operations users to enjoy an unprecedented level of self-service and day-zero experience for an advanced IT Operations analytics platform. The Solution Specialist for Netuitive Cloud is an engineer within Netuitive?s Inside Sales organization who will help prospects and end-users learn and benefit from the features and capabilities of Netuitive Cloud.
The Solution Specialist acts as a trusted advisor for customers and prospects, helping IT Operations professionals become more effective in managing the business critical applications and infrastructures that are entrusted to them through the use of Netuitive. Product implementation success, value realization and ultimate customer satisfaction are key responsibilities for the Solution Specialist.
Success criteria for the Inside Sales organization is defined in terms of on-boarding a growing number of new customers to our free offerings, in converting the free users into paid subscribers, and in expanding the resulting subscription revenue base.
Provide pre- and post-sales technical advice and support to the users of Netuitive Cloud
Develop technical champions within customer organizations to help support increasing investment in Netuitive
Collaborate with the inside sales reps to help identify and qualify new and add-on sales opportunities
Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of Netuitive?s solutions
Assess customers? needs for expansion by means of integrating into new data sources
Help customers plan a solution implementation roadmap that would start with a free Netuitive Cloud offering and evolve into a cross-platform application-level solution over time
Assist in the design and configuration of customized solutions (including integrations, alarms, dashboards, and reports)
Collaborate with Netuitive professional services organization to define statements of work for custom delivery engagements
Represent Netuitive in online forums (webinars, blogs, user groups) to promote the Netuitive Cloud solution as a thought leader and help qualify eventual business opportunities
Collaborate with Netuitive product management organization to capture Request for Enhancements (RFE) with ideas for improving the Netuitive Cloud offering
Facilitate a smooth transition of strategic customers from Inside Sales support to Field support, when justified by the business opportunity and customer needs
A technical Bachelor of Science degree
5+ years experience in a systems administration or application support role within an enterprise IT organization
Prior experience as a sales engineer or consultant, or as an online community organizer/evangelist
In-depth knowledge of DevOps and IT Operations practices
Hands-on experience with commercial and/or open source monitoring tools and repositories (e.g. Nagios, Ganglia, Splunk, NewRelic, AWS CloudWatch, Graphite,?)
Experience with Java development language and no-SQL (e.g. Cassandra, HBase,?) would be a plus
In addition, the candidate should demonstrate the following:
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic atmosphere
Independent problem solving
Ability to learn new technologies and software quickly
Ability to work either independently, or in small teams, with minimal supervision.
