Purpose
Responsible for communication and demonstration of the value enabled by ASTUTE?s unique solutions while supporting both the external and internal sales staff in the successful execution of ASTUTE's selling process.
Scope
The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing solutions that will successfully satisfy a customer's project objectives whilst evoking confidence in ASTUTE?s products, technologies and services. To accomplish this, the Solutions Architect must have a strong desire and ability to leverage both technical and sales skills while playing a key role in the sales process. The successful Solutions Architect will possess the ability to uncover business requirements, align Astute capabilities with those requirements, identify and document the customer's current technical landscape, develop a technical sales strategy during sales opportunities, effectively demonstrate the solutions that address the customer's business requirements and communicate the business value of ASTUTE?s unique product offerings.
Reporting & Working Relationships
Reports to the Managing/Chief Solutions Architect
Internal working relationships include ASTUTE?s President, Project Management Staff, Product Development staff, other Sales/Business Development teams, Marketing and Support teams. External relationships will exist with Reseller Partners as well as Vendors in support of the customer organizations who may be involved in the day-to-day application of ASTUTE?s product and services.

Sales Support ?Provide support to both all sales personnel in an effort to continually grow revenue and service our new prospect and customer's needs. Function as a primary technical resource in the development of ASTUTE?s value proposition and technological capabilities during sales engagements. Demonstrate ASTUTE?s product capabilities via demonstration's and capabilities discussions both in-person and via web-based methods.

Solution Documentation and Design ? Communicate via written format the project/solution requirements, roles and responsibilities for both the customer and ASTUTE during the pre-sales process. Document developments, meeting notes and project details in ASTUTE internal sales management systems. Develop solution design documentation and supporting materials as needed.

Product Knowledge and Understanding ? Develop and maintain a deep understanding of ASTUTE's products and services. Demonstrate a command of this product knowledge and the various applications? of ASTUTE?s products to fulfill both technical and business requirements.

Demo System Design and Maintenance ? Maintain the existing sales demonstration systems and configure the systems as needed to fulfill sales demonstration responsibilities. Proactively develop and design new techniques and use-case scenarios to better demonstrate ASTUTE?s products.

Highly developed written and verbal communications skills

Qualifications
Minimum of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field (preferably)
Minimum of 3 to 5 years sales support experience in working with complex sales opportunities

Ability to travel as needed to customer meetings, trade shows and conferences
