The Federal Solution Architect (SA) is responsible for creating innovative technical solutions for NSi?s Federal customers using NSI?s product suite. The Federal SA responds to technical and business-related questions from our customers and prospective clients each day, therefore must be capable of combining creativity with analytical thinking. Duties include management of technical activities of our resellers, working hand-in-hand with customers to define requirements, creating demonstrations and proofs-of-concept, and supporting the Federal sales team with proposals. RESPONSIBILITIES:Deploy NSi software into major Federal accounts.
Translate business requirements into technical configuration of NSi software.
Provide pre and post-sales technical support to major customers.
Lead technical training sessions for our partners and end-users.
Participate in technical discussions or presentations.
Develop documentation to support the configuration requirements of different applications.
REQUIREMENTS:TECHNICAL
3-5+ years experience with installation and administration of client/server and/or web applications
Experience with configuration of Microsoft Windows operating systems
Experience with general network management (TCP/IP, etc)
Experience with database administration (SQL, etc)
Experience with computer programming (VB, JScript)
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
NON-TECHNICAL
Ability to explain complex technical ideas to non-technical people
Excellent customer service skills
Experience working with DoD/Federal customers
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent in technical field
Ability to travel at least 50%
PREFERRED
Experience with document management and content management (e.g. Microsoft SharePoint, EMC Documentum)
Familiarity with document imaging technology
VBscript and .NET experience a plus
