BlackArrow seeks a highly motivated Solutions Architect for our growing Client Services team. This individual will guide custom development and enforce closely coupled integration with BlackArrow?s core advanced advertising system for New TV platforms. In addition to overseeing architectural design of integration components, the Solutions Architect will work closely with Technology and QA teams both internal and external to the company.Responsibilities:
Assist with key decisions regarding integration architecture
Ensure any custom components designed by the Client Services team are in line with Product Management and Technology needs
Work closely with technical team members on custom product configuration and integration
Generate architectural designs, documentation, prototyping and delivery team support
Oversee implementation of the design
Lead the technical team with potential hands on development
Serve as primary liaison during integration testing with third-party clients and partners
Minimum qualifications:
8+ years of enterprise application experience
8+ years of software development or architecture experience
Proficiency with Java/J2EE, HTML, JavaScript, SQL and enterprise architecture design patterns
Experience in architecting application programming interfaces
Experience in architecting highly customizable solutions
Experience with large volume, highly available, scalable solutions
Experience in delivering high quality technical documentation
Excellent problem solving skills
BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or comparable industry experience
Proven capacity to work independently
Preferred skills:
MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics
Experience using video ad serving platforms (Freewheel, Auditude, YuMe, Adap.tv, etc) is a plus
Experience with cable TV/IPTV related technologies
Understanding of the online media marketplace
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
Strong technical aptitude, organizational ability, detail-focus, and initiative
