Solutions Consultant Courion
The Solutions Consultant is a member of the Courion's Sales organization, responsible for collaborating with the Sales Managers to sell an integrated suite of Enterprise Identity Management solutions to new and existing accounts. This individual will have a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices and technology integration, demonstrating expertise and delivery of functional and technical solutions to sophisticated customer engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Superior communications, relationship and customer service skills that result in the ability to rapidly assess needs, build solutions and sell solutions to sophisticated customers
Exemplary technical skill enabling configuration, customization and rapid problem solving in the field including:
Strong database query experience in a relational database environment (SQL Server, Oracle or Sybase)
Intermediate to expert level skills (2 ? 5 years) in at least two of the following scripting languages: VBScript, JavasScript or Perl
Experience with Active Directory, Novel or other LDAP directory
XML and XSLT is highly desirable
Maintain awareness of current innovations and knowledge of Windows architecture, infrastructure and relational databases
Acquire Courion product knowledge through training, applying methodology and procedures relevant to the customer facing role
Develop customized presentations adapting to unique customer requirements and demonstrating creative approaches to fulfilling customer use cases
Develop and deliver technical presentations to demonstrate enterprise solutions, ease-of-configuration, simplicity of architecture and intelligence of workflows providing opportunity for customer interaction and demonstrate excellent presentation skills
Provide needs assessment, consultation, technical solutions and customer support with a team of Courion professionals
Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical responses to satisfy prospective customer inquiries resulting from a RFP
Effectively communicate with sales representative and sales management
Regularly contribute to Courion technical boards and cross-functional teams to provide technical leadership and advice

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 3 years previous sales engineering experience
Experience with Identity and Access Management solutions is desired
Must be able to work well both independently and collaboratively
Effective communication skills both verbally and written
Bachelor's degree in information systems, or related area or demonstration of equivalent knowledge
Extensive domestic travel
