Solutions Consultant (Pre Sales) Lattice Engines

As a Solutions Consultant, you demonstrate proven sales skills and an executive presence. Serving as the subject matter expert in sales cycles, you function well in a fast-paced, highly-visible, client-facing role. You are a versatile, dynamic member of our Sales team who excels both independently and collaboratively. Conversant with clients? sales and marketing needs, you articulate solution recommendations in an industry-focused language.
Location: Flexible (Bay Area, Boston, Austin, New York, or Chicago preferred); home-based is also an option
Responsibilities
Participate in the sales process from the first call to the close of business
Communicate a client-specific value proposition and gain the confidence of the client?s senior operating executives
Execute transaction-level data analysis to identify predictive data attributes that uncover underlying patterns and trends
Develop customized presentation content
Configure product demonstrations based on the client?s specific business needs
Travel approximately 50% of the time, to clients based in the United States and Canada
Qualifications
5+ years of post-college work experience
2+ years of experience in a pre-sales or consulting environment
Experience working with data, databases, and data modeling
Thorough sales and marketing business domain knowledge
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present complex concepts in an organized and articulate manner
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to translate raw data into meaningful trends
Familiarity with packaged application delivery and the SaaS model
Work experience at an analytics software company, major systems integrator, or management consulting firm is a plus
