Solutions Consultant (Pre-Sales) Lattice Engines
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED As a member of the Sales team, the Solutions Consultant serves as the subject matter expert in sales cycles. This is a fast-paced, highly-visible, client-facing role that provides the opportunity to use a versatile set of skills, including:
Participating in the sales process from the first call to the close of business.
Communicating a client-specific value proposition and gaining the confidence of the client?s senior operating executives.
Understanding a client?s sales and marking organization and being able to articulate solution recommendations in an industry-focused language.
Executing a transaction-level data analysis to identify predictive data attributes and uncover underlying patterns and trends.
Developing tailored and customized presentation content.
Configuring product demonstrations based on the client?s specific business needs.
Work experience at an analytics software company, major systems integrator, or management consulting firm is a plus. This role involves frequent client interaction and requires approximately 50% travel. Preferred locations are Silicon Valley, Boston, Austin, or New York. Home-based is also an option.
Desired Skills and Experience
Proven sales skills and an executive presence.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present complex concepts in an organized and articulate manner.
The discipline to work alone and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a small, high performance team.
At least 5 years of post-college work experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a pre-sales or consulting environment.
Experience working with data, databases, and data modeling.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to translate raw data into meaningful trends.
Sales and marketing business domain knowledge.
Familiarity with packaged application delivery and the SaaS model.
Willingness to travel approximately 50% to clients based in the United States and Canada.
