As a Keynote Solutions Consultant for the US you will be expected to deliver extraordinary initiative, effort and leadership to identify and develop business opportunities with existing clients and assist the sales staff in capturing new business in your region. You will be a critical member of a sales and delivery team focusing on Service Level Management and Customer Experience Management for e-business applications. You will provide pre- and post-sales support, drive the technical sales agenda, and assure prospects and customers have the right technical solutions to meet their needs. You will determine customer requirements, influence evaluation criteria, set customer expectations, conduct demonstrations and evaluations, and coordinate (and when appropriate, contribute to) the delivery of the solution(s).
Solution Consultants must have the ability to write well, speak clearly about technical matters, discuss the significance of measurement data with clients, and influence customer decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen with a distinct ability to discuss business and technical objectives, and be comfortable communicating with senior technical staff and management.

Providing pre-sales and post-sales support in proposing and designing solutions to meet customers' business and technical requirements in the areas of e-business performance monitoring, testing, and tuning and evaluating Keynote DeviceAnywhere products
Developing and conducting strategic and effective demonstrations, presentations and customer training
Facilitating and managing communication between project team members and customers
Identifying and defining customer requirements, mapping solutions, and creating a vision
Organizing and managing interdepartmental activities and resources to complete projects according to agreed specifications within defined budgets and time constraints
Qualifications:
Service Level Management projects are collaborative efforts that bring together individuals with a variety of skills in several areas of Internet and e-commerce performance; no single consultant is expert in all areas. The specific technical skills and experience we are seeking in applicants for the current open position are:
5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Technical Consultant in the application or network performance management space
At least a Bachelor degree in a technical discipline
Working knowledge of Web page design and technologies (HTML, element types), Web server applications and servers, networking technologies (LAN, broadband, dial-up architectures/characteristics), and network concepts and equipment (switches, routers, caches, traffic distributors, firewalls)
Familiarity with the typical processes, tools, and activities involved in systems performance measurement, performance testing, application performance troubleshooting and diagnosis, and performance tuning
Basic understanding of infrastructure architectures and network topologies, and familiarity with TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SSL, BGP and other Internet protocols and their performance characteristics
Strategic thinker with sales intelligence, a strong presence and the ability to create, influence, and drive customer vision
Effective writing skills; ability to support the development of technically focused, solutions-oriented sales proposals
Exceptional corporate presentation, and relationship?building skills
Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to work well both independently and as proactive team member
Providing pre and post sales technical support
Delivering pre and post-sales professional services
Sales engineering activities
Ongoing support to your assigned accounts
