Our solutions aim to facilitate and grow the relationship between our Clients and their Accolade Health Assistant, extending the reach and accessibility of our core services. In this unique, hands-on, customer-centric position, the Director of Solution Delivery will serve as an expert for applications, processes and new capabilities across all client interactions with Accolade.
This role is a valuable resource in the operations and growth of the business. It has the responsibility for defining, developing, implementing and owning the product and technical architecture for Accolade Health Assistant and Client experience built-for-purpose solutions and services that are critical to our mission.
This role has the responsibility for line management of the Solutions Delivery team, including third party suppliers, and establishing the practices, processes and accountabilities necessary to implement strategic product service
roadmaps. Additionally, this role is responsible for transition of solutions to production support and, along with the Director of Solutions Support, for the long-term maintenance and enhancement of existing products.
You will feel comfortable operating within a fast-paced environment and shipping quality products in a timely manner. You have great core solution delivery skills
? strong customer empathy, ability to get work done across groups, attention to
detail, and excellent written and oral communication. In addition, you have demonstrated ability to effectively partner with architects, Product Manager(s), Program Manager(s) and development and testing team members to drive end-to-end results from concept to go-live to operations. You will manage the project planning and management for said solutions, including software platform development management as required.
Lead multiple delivery teams and manage the team?s product/project portfolio, including those that are cross-discipline and cross-team
Influence partner teams in making joint decisions that benefit the business while balancing the critical objectives of the program / product vision and direction
Work collaboratively with technical leaders and management to drive change
Analyze, identify and drive top issues to resolution
Gather and define the functional and non-functional scope for features you support (own the prioritization of the product portfolio and work with Solution Managers to prioritize the backlogs)
Develop metrics for measuring cost and benefits of the product, including ongoing run and maintain
Present the project status and direction at key meetings with business partner teams and leadership
Definition, design, development and implementation of the product and services architecture ? focus on increasing the adoption and improving the discipline of Agile (or other iterative) delivery practices
Procurement of appropriate aspects of required solutions and the integration of chosen third party solutions within the architecture
Overall responsibility for the specification, development, integration and testing of
technical solutions that meet the needs of the business and its customers. Such technical solutions could include:
Web portal, web services
Managed API platforms and integration
Analytic solutions and services
Search, marketing and optimization
Clinical systems and practice management
Content production and management
CRM, ERP and contract monitoring
Data extraction and optimization
Documentation and process controls of these solutions; ensure documentation is maintained in order to enable their effective support and further development
High quality solutions that maximize availability and protect the data within them
Support and resolve problems with 3rd party solutions as required
Ensure that all relevant policies and procedures are followed at all times (including by third party providers)
Data-driven and fact-based; focused on getting the best answer for clients and shareholders
Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment and achieve results through influence and leadership

A minimum of six years of product development and platform operations, preferably in a services based environment.
A solid technical background and understanding of software platform infrastructure, preferably in Microsoft Technologies, including .NET, SQL Server, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, CCA, Active Directory/ADFS and other like technologies
Excellent analytical, problem resolution and decision making skills
Demonstrated disciplined solution delivery management and the development of solution practices/teams
Broad working knowledge of product management practices
A passion for clean architecture & healthy enterprise platforms
Experience in high volume customer service operations or consumer product services a plus
A minimum of a BS degree in Computer Science or related field
