MediaMath is a privately held company headquartered in New York.MediaMath is currently seeking a software developer to join our team building and maintaining external and internal-facing applications. These systems are high availability and enable the execution of ad campaigns for many major brands.
Responsibilities:
Write high-quality code.
Document your application design.
Improve the process around shipping and maintaining code.
Collaborate with Product Management, Business Development, Engineering, and Senior Management on application requirements.
Mentor your new teammates.
Requirements:
Software development is one of your passions.
PHP is something you not only use, but is also one of the first technologies you turn to when you need to deliver a solution.
You have proven experience developing stable web-based applications for a discerning client base.
You possess the Unix scripting and administration skills to be self-sufficient on a LAMP stack.
You like using Javascript libraries, but can hand code JS when required.
You understand HTTP and session management.
You have built applications that use a 3rd party API (maybe several).
JSON is great, but you can parse XML too.
Process is something that you?re constantly looking to improve, be it through development methodologies, deployment techniques, test coverage, or how to run an effective meeting
You are energetic and opinionated.
You are curious and willing to change course.
