We?re looking for a hard-charging Solutions Engineer to work with Sales and Marketing to help get bring solutions to market.

What you?ll do:
As the Cloud Solutions Engineer, you?ll own the Cloud segment of our business and be responsible for developing marketing plans (hello positioning and messaging!) and nurturing sales opportunities?and you?ll have the satisfaction of measuring ROI of your efforts every step of the way!
Responsibilities: What will I do?
On a daily basis you work closely with all departments:
o Sales and sales enablement to increase customer spend, keep customers spending with Spiceworks prove ROI for programs by drive regular interaction with sales and customers to fine-tune messaging and packaging
o Demand gen to evangelize/sell products, drive qualified interest and increase the total number of customer spending with Spiceworks
o Marketing communications to drive tool usage and determine what products are most engaging for IT pros
o Product marketing to better understand segment trends and customize product messaging for your particular segment
o Account management to optimize creative, campaigns and reporting prove ROI for programs
Stay aggressively on top of the competitive/industry landscape and keep sales, dev and exec teams in the loop
Analyze and conceptualize a new business and monetization opportunities (business development)
Qualifications: What does it take to do this job (and do it well)?
Passionate for IT. The more you geek out on tech, the better. If you administered a network in your past -- huge bonus points.
Multi-tasking master. You can work on a dozen different projects with a dozen different people.
Sales moxie. Sales wants you to be on the call, at the site, and involved in creating the presentation.
Results driven. You can point to what you?ve done in the past, not just what you were part of or watched from the sidelines.
Passion for change, creativity and invention. Everything you encounter in life is an opportunity to either learn from it ? or fix it.
Technical undergrad (preferred) & MBA
