Solutions Engineer Avectra
Position Summary:Responsible for actively driving and managing the functional and technology evaluation stages of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. Must be able to articulate product positioning and technology to both business and technical users. Must be able to quickly understand prospects' business processes, map them to our software and communicate solutions during product demonstrations and throughout the entire sales process.
Specific Responsibilities:
Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations
Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
Able to travel throughout sales territory
Experience & Preferred Skills:
SQL experience or HTML experience
Good presentation skills
Experience in enterprise software sales; familiarity with associations and non-profits a plus
SQL or HTML (or desire to learn)
Good written and oral communication skills
Familiarity with operational areas such as membership, events, certification
