Solutions Engineer Quantum Secure
This position is for a seasoned Solutions Engineer responsible for implementing/installing solutions utilizing Quantum Secure?s SAFE product suite integrated with other systems, working on-site at federal agencies implementing SAFE on government networks. This is a highly visible position, and involves approximately 10-30% travel.
Provide overall Technical leadership for customer engagement for the duration of a project
Manage the technical scope of the project, and be the technical liaison for both the customer
and Quantum Secure throughout a customer engagement
Work closely with the Program/Project Manager in identifying and determining mitigation
strategies for solution gaps and identify risks in the successful implementation of the solution
Assist engineering team to design, test and develop prototypes using C#, .NET libraries
Assist with new product development projects, testing of prototypes, and unit testing
The Solutions Engineer will:
Work closely with QS Partners (Deloitte, HP, Tyco Integrated Security, JCI, etc.) in planning
and executing on deployments
Exercise sound judgment and patience in dealing with federal government users
Work on special non-revenue projects in the federal government that help showcase SAFE for
future use such as integration with the Back End Attribute Exchange imitative undertaken by
DHS and GSA
Set up and maintain a new Quantum Secure Center of Excellence (demo lab) at Quantum
Secure?s Washington DC office where customer s can come for briefings and demonstrations
Work with local vendor partners in implementing integrated systems as needed.
Prior Work Experience and Requirement:
Must have 5+ years of similar experience working with federal government users
-This posting requires US Citizenship as a condition of government contract
Education:
An advanced degree and technical certification such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) is preferred with relevant experience in areas listed below
Required Skills:
Must have current and deep experience in SQL, SOA and .NET and with implementation of large .NET and/or competitive technology software systems within a customer care setting
Hands-on experience with Windows 2003 Server, SQL Server, Oracle, .NET, Web-Services, Business Rule Engines
Demonstrated ability to Think strategically and collaboratively influence others
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to project teams including business representatives
Expertise in handling any technical and functional problem that may typically arise and offer creative solutions to unique cases
Must have strong analytical skills along with good communications abilities
Desired Skills:
Prior work experience with Physical Access Control Systems (PACS), Identity Management systems (IDMS), Integration tools such as BIZTALK, Security Industry preferred.
