Solutions Engineer Ramp

RAMP is looking for a Solution Engineer to join the Technical Sales team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned web developer that can use his or her skills to create product demonstrations and has a desire to eventually grow into the role of a Sales Engineer. As RAMP continues to grow and expand into new business opportunities, there becomes a growing need to support business development with bleeding-edge technical demonstrations, with a concentration on front-end web technologies. A successful candidate must have an excellent grasp of various web technologies, strong presentation skills and the drive to grow professionally. Candidate must embrace opportunities to create demonstrations that showcase the power of new and existing products or solutions that are available with RAMP.Key Responsibilities:
? Leading role in creation of product demonstrations, with a concentration web technologies as the main driver of any implementation
? Collaborate cross-functionally with different internal business units to learn, foster new ideas and ensure optimal performance and timely delivery of demonstrations
? Willing to learn new, potentially unfamiliar technologies so as to enhance implementations as well as ensure professional growth
? Succinctly present demonstration deployments to business development prospects as the opportunity presents itself
? Ability to thrive in a high-demand and high-throughput environment working on mission-critical projects
? Gather project requirements from internal and/or external stakeholders to properly scope a bullet-proof functional specification and estimate total level of effort
Key Qualifications:
? Bachelor Degree required, B.S. in Computer-related field preferred
? 3-5 years of professional web development experience required
? Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript 1.8, JQuery 1.8, XML 1.0/1.1, and XSL 1.0/2.0
? Excellent presentation skills; specifically performing presentations of demonstrations which exceed the expectations of the prospect
? Excellent interpersonal business skills, ability to communicate effectively and efficiently to various to members within Company
? Implementation experience of fluid and responsive design preferred
? Knowledge of the LAMP/WAMP stack preferred
? Strong Java 1.6+ experience preferred
? Experience building and configuring custom ETL tools preferred
