We have an immediate need for an experienced, highly motivated and goal-oriented Solutions Marketing Manager to join our team. Working closely with sales, marketing, product management, business development, systems engineering, customer service and tech pubs teams, the Solutions Marketing Manager will define and drive the positioning, development and delivery of BTI System's metro solutions to market, inclusive of all of the Company's portfolio and services, as well as partner solutions and services. The position will assess and quantify portfolio opportunities, develop solutions strategies for target customer segments (including Tier 1 service providers, Tier 2/3 incumbent providers, competitive communications service providers, mobile operators and content providers and datacenter operators) and geographies (NA, Asia, EMEA) including problem definition, go-to-market plans, positioning and messaging, and develop technical and marketing materials (including web content, sales tools, collateral, webinars, presentations and launch material) for sales enablement and external marketing.
The ideal candidate will have university degree or equivalent coupled with 8+ years relevant experience in marketing positions in the Software/OSS/IT/Networking industry, understanding of telecommunications networking (Layer 2 - Layer 7) and will have a keen ability to translate product "feeds and speeds" into comprehensive solutions. Some domestic and international travel will be part of this position.
The Solutions Marketing Manager will:
Develop and drive BTI solution selling initiatives - putting the technology into context for prospects and building tools and programs to support solution oriented customer engagement
Define and drive our portfolio of Networking, Software and Applications products Market Positioning - including a clear positioning of BTI's portfolio value, competitive price points and product requirements
Develop and drive marketing content and collaterals including positioning messages, datasheets, case studies, whitepapers, presentations, business cases, ROI models, etc.
Develop and drive market launch campaigns and introductions for assigned portfolio of products and solutions
Engage with sales teams and customers directly in support of bid proposals, customer engagements and pre-sales activities
Work with the trade shows and events team to deliver product positioning and all necessary content for trade shows and events; participation at trade shows is required
Work with product management team to ensure BTI puts forward a winning value proposition to customers
Collaborate cross-functionally on competitive selling, pricing, market development and field solutions
