Solutions Marketing Manager Cornerstone OnDemand
Cornerstone OnDemand is looking for a Solutions Marketing Manager to join the Product Marketing team. The SMM will assist multiple teams including global sales,product marketing, demand generation and client success to execute Cornerstone?s go-to-market strategy and build awareness around talent management solutions specifically within the Public Sector (e.g., Government, Education, Non-Profits) and Healthcare/Life Sciences markets. The Solutions Marketing Manager will contribute greatly to these emerging markets in one of the world?s fast-growing enterprise software companies.
The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud technology platforms, the talent management market or B2B technology. This Solutions Marketing Manager will oversee all strategic marketing initiatives for specific verticals/markets.
Execute on strategic activities from a focused business plan and go-to-market strategy in alignment with sales to further develop the public sector and healthcare market for Cornerstone.
Own packaging and ?bundle? initiatives for markets and segments (pricing, packaging, SKUs, etc.)
Develop sales playbooks for government, education, healthcare/life-science and non-profits.
Build internal expertise of Cornerstone?s traction and penetration within the target segments and understand the footprint for use cases.
Customize and tailor a suite of sales enablement tools that span the sales cycle enabling the sales force to drive higher levels of efficiency, effectiveness and overall professionalism within the public sector. Develop and cultivate an internal swat team for knowledge sharing. The key areas include:
-Sales guides and reference materials
-Reference selling tools
-Value selling tools
-Competitive positioning tools
Collaborate with the demand generation and marketing communications teams in the development of integrated marketing plans for public sector and healthcare:
-Create alignment with the PR/media team on marketing communications
-Identify and work with analyst relations on key analysts within segment
-Craft broader forums for online and field marketing programs based on sub-segment and solution area priorities
-Support in field as SME as speaker at key marketing events
Required Skills and Experience
EDUCATION: BS/BA required in the fields of Business, Marketing or related area. MBA is a major plus.
EXPERIENCE: 5-7 years strategic, product, enterprise software or B2B technology.
REQUIRED: Product/Field Marketing for technology in the Public Sector - or ? Role within a government agency or higher education institution human resources departments.
Writing skills are critical and REQUIRED. This role creates content in the form of datasheets, product briefs, blog posts, PowerPoint presentations, video scripts, whitepapers, etc.
Ability to 100% own initiatives. A motivated self-starter who can operate and execute with a sense of urgency, discipline and focus.
Excellent communication skills are a MUST. Candidate must have the ability to present to C-Level audiences, host webinars, conduct product demo overviews, etc.
Demonstrated experience working effectively with a cross-functional team consisting of Sales, Product Management, Client Success and Marketing.
