Job Code: SSW-1272Azimuth Systems Inc. is a leading provider of wireless broadband real world test
solutions for Wi-Fi, WiMAX, LTE and other wireless technologies. Azimuth?s
products are used by the world?s foremost wireless semiconductor OEM's,
handset OEM's, Network Equipment OEM's and Mobile Operators. Azimuth?s real
world test solutions enable research, development, QA and marketing engineers
to test the performance, conformance and certification of broadband wireless
devices and networks supporting data, voice and video applications.
Currently we have an immediate opening for an experienced, self-motivated and
energetic person to join our team as a Solutions Software Engineer for our
Channel Emulation product line.
Job Duties
? Develop, test and deploy custom software and hardware solutions and
products based on customer needs
? Develop novel, exciting, visually pleasing and highly useful graphical user
interfaces
? Working in the lab with the latest 4G cell phone, modems and base stations
to innovate new solutions and capabilities
? Work closely with sales organization, product managers and customers to
create solutions to specific customer needs both tactically and strategically
? Solve unique customer problems in innovative ways
? Manage the entire development cycle of new product lines
Requirements
? MSCS preferred; BSEE or BSCS required
? 4+ years of software development experienceAzimuth Systems, Inc.

? A minimum of 2 year of continuous development using C#, .NET and WPF
? Excellent understanding and practical use of OOD methodology and tools
? Academic knowledge in the fundamentals of Electrical Engineering including
Electromagnetic Propagation, Signals and Systems and similar topics
? Experience or academic knowledge of wireless communications, especially
with a focus on the PHY and MAC layers is desirable
? Experience with lab based RF equipment a plus
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
