Sourcing Project Manager, Corporate Professional Services ICG Commerce

Job Description :

ICG Commerce is seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Sourcing Project Manager with expertise in a wide range of categories to work with Fortune 500 clients to develop and execute sourcing strategies that support each company?s business goals while achieving optimal pricing, quality and service levels. In this capacity, you will be based out of ICG Commerce?s King of Prussia, PA office and will have substantial involvement in supporting sales and solution design and in helping procurement organizations expand their involvement and control of non-traditional spend areas.

ICG Commerce is seeking a Benefits Consultant with expertise in Benefits/HR services to provide day-to-day management of sourcing streams, executing a seamless and integrated sourcing process that delivers upon key customer requirements. In this capacity, you will be based out of ICG Commerce?s King of Prussia, PA office and will collaborate with team members and Fortune 500 stakeholders to drive significant value. Specifically, you will:

Ensure the consistent delivery of sourcing services that meet and exceed savings and SLA targets
Manage all aspects of sourcing projects according to team, account, and budget guidelines
Establish and cultivate key client stakeholder relationships across organizations, building trust and support for each sourcing project
Seek out opportunities to drive creativity and innovation within each sourcing project, while ensuring adherence to quality and timeliness standards
Promote Benefit objectives and change initiatives, ensuring Corporate Services sourcing team is supporting overall company direction and growth
Identify cost/productivity improvement opportunities in spending across a wide array of leading companies
Lead sourcing projects, including all key steps such as strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations and supplier contract execution
Pursue and develop senior level stakeholder relationships at priority accounts; support account stakeholder relationship plans
Promote corporate objectives and change initiatives, ensuring that the sourcing team is supporting overall company direction and growth
Mentor sourcing team on stakeholder and project management, with a special emphasis on collaboration, customer focus, delivery excellence, continuous improvement, negotiations and contracting
Represent the Sourcing & Category Management team as a category expert to current and prospective customer

Job Requirements :

A degree in a quantitative discipline (business/finance/economics/engineering/ mathematics) from a top tier university
Deep knowledge of sourcing and/or category management process within Fortune 500 organizations
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a wide range of suppliers.
Well-developed, solution-oriented selling skills
Ability to drive transformational change
Excellent communication, organization/time management and problem solving skills
Solid multi-phase project management skills
Strong ability to effectively manage in a matrix organizational structure working with multiple internal clients
Ability to adapt to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers
Exceptional track record of building relationships with stakeholders or customers that have resulted in high customer satisfaction

Travel:

This position requires travel of approximately 20-30% to multiple customer locations.
