Southeast Channel Manager Voltage Security

This position is for our SouthEast Territory (States). The preferred candidate would reside Texas, Georgia or Florida. The Channel Manager must work independently at times and as a unified team with their Field Sales counterparts to ensure territory revenue goals are exceeded. States include TX, OK, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, GA, SC, NC, FL.
Detailed Responsibilities include
Support Security VAR channel partners in targeting and acquiring new Voltage customers
Travel to strategic VAR channel partners to host trainings and strategic planning sessions
Execute national channel strategy in assigned territory
Past working relationship with top security VARs is a plus
Must be able to prospect, and assemble quotes for VAR partners
Establish and maintain a strong and trusted relationship with channel partners for assigned territory
Aggressively drive partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, training and support
Ensure the existing channel partners are capable of supporting Voltage technologies and strategies
Using Salesforce, manage and address opportunities and leads with channel partners within assigned territory
Develop proper channel mix to cover target verticals
Recruit and develop channel mix to cover target verticals
Distribute and follow-up on leads via the channel partners
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree with 5+ years experience preferred
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Excellent communication skills
Must be proactive, motivated and organized
Able to articulate the overall Voltage message and each solution value proposition
