Southeastern/Federal Sales Account Manager Packet Design, Inc.
Position Description:
Responsibilities include selling Packet Design?s complete Route and Traffic Analytics software product line to new and existing customers in the Southeast/Fed US territory. Position entails prospecting, lead qualification, technical presentations, forecasting and closing business.

Packet Design is located in Palo Alto, California.
Experience Requirements:
5 years+ experience selling network management and/or system management software
Excellent working knowledge of IP, routing protocols, and network hardware
Track record of building a new territory, preferably at a start-up
Closed multiple $1M+ software license agreements
Technical background or systems engineering experience a plus
Experience selling to Service Providers and Fortune 500 enterprises as well as Government Systems Integrators and Federal end users in the Southeast/Federal US regions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Other Requirements:
Must be able to travel frequently, economically and on short notice
Education Requirements
College degree with technical training is preferred
