Aurora Flight Sciences is seeking an experienced, Special Process Engineer first shift, to join our growing team in our Bridgeport WV facility. This position requires an action and results oriented individual who can effectively achieve demanding development and production goals. This individual must also be able to interact and communicate at all levels of the organization.

Specific Responsibilities:
Develop, oversee, and maintain special processes at Aurora WV facility. These include Chemical Processing (Paint, Primer, and Chemical Conversion Coatings), Heat Treat (Aluminum Alloys), and possibly composite processes. This will include development of process procedures that meet all customer requirements, NADCAP requirements, and any internal requirements. Main interface will be with the Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Assurance group in order to create stable approved processes that can be utilized by the entire team at Aurora. Follow established company procedures and project execution processes. Performs to individual and company objectives and metrics. Incorporates lean manufacturing principles and participates in process improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements (education and experience):
BS degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aerospace preferred) from an accredited university.
1-5 years experience within at least one of the following: Heat Treating of Aluminum Alloys, Chemical Processing (Chemical Conversion Coatings & Painting), or Composite fabrication.
Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience utilizing ERP/MRP planning systems and bill of material interrogation for process planning.
MUST be a US Person or Permanent Resident Green Card Holder.
