Role and Responsibilities?Collect, process and maintain linguistic corpora to develop large vocabulary, automatic speech recognition technologies
?Train and test statistical language models, including acoustic and ngram models, for speech recognition in a variety of domains
?Execute and deliver project tasks associated with both customer engagements and internal engineering roadmap objectives
?Assist Client Services as required in support of customer specific speech and NLP related questions
Qualifications and Education Requirements
? BS/MS Degree in computer science, computational linguistics, applied linguistics or related field
? Knowledge and hands-on experience scripting languages (e.g. shell scripting, Perl, Python)
? Experience working under both Linux and Windows
? Have worked on a live application or service that includes speech recognition is a plus
? Fluent in a second, non-English language a plus
