Undertone is seeking a Sponsorship & Events Associate to join the Chicago Marketing Team. This individual will be tasked with developing and managing unique events that support Undertone?s business strategy. There are two critical sides to this role. The first will be to partner with the Sales team to execute entertainment events for top-tier clients. Additionally, the Associate will research national and regional industry events to consider for sponsorship opportunities. This role allows for creative out of the box thinking and the ability to partner with multiple parties both internally and externally.
Develop, plan, and execute sponsorship, internal and client facing entertainment events
Create an effective yearly marketing plan for national and regional sponsorship events as well as entertainment events (specifically for Mid-West, Texas and West Coast markets)
Work closely with Sales and Marketing to define event involvement, plans, goals and objectives
Maintain individual event documents ? calendars, checklists, run of shows, budgets, etc.
Handle post-event actions ? event feedback, analysis, and budget finalization
Successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting numerous deadlines
Provide improvements to the event team?s functionality and day-to-day processes; bring new ideas and concepts to event programs
A minimum of 1 year experience in the event planning, event management and marketing space required
Minimum of a Bachelor?s degree required
Understanding of the entertainment and event industry
Previous experience with national and regional digital/interactive advertising organizations is helpful
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task, with acute attention to detail while handling large budgets
Proven negotiation, problem solving, organization and project management skills
Knowledge of Adobe Programs (Photoshop, Illustrator) preferred
Willing and able to travel as needed
