Bauer's Transportation is seeking a Sponsorship Sales Manager
We are seeking an energetic, motivated, talented senior Sponsorship Sales Professional. They will be responsible for creating and selling branded, high-impact marketing programs across our Transportation vehicles, events and to our ridership.
We're looking for an exuberant personality and a polished appearance and prior high level sponsorship - advertising sales experience
RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO)
? Create, package and sell solution-based marketing for vehicle signage, product give-a-way, and all forms of advertising
? Meet or exceed revenue and key account goals
? Focus on developing and maintaining strong relationships with important decision makers at client marketing companies
? Effectively prospect respective advertising agencies in a variety of business categories
? Craft sales presentations that creatively and distinctly differentiate and communicate unique assets to targeted prospects
? Position Bauer's assets and marketing capabilities to the sponsor/ advertiser marketplace
? Demonstrate the branding values of Bauer's Captive Audience and drive by audience to create unique marketing value
? Structure, price, successfully negotiate and close all deals and arrangements
? Oversee sponsor contracts, invoicing, and accounts receivable or develop processes to ensure execution and collections
? 1-2 evening networking events per week as a schedule
? Weekend & Night work a given
? Previous contacts with Organizing Committees, Event Organizers, Venue Managers, Transportation Bid Committees, Government Bodies
? Solid relationships with senior level marketing executives at relevant marketing corporations located in or doing business in the market
? Key agency contacts with media buyers, planners and senior media management
? Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture relationships and work effectively at all levels of the decision process
? Sufficient understanding of media / advertising buys to communicate value of sponsorship vs. pure media as a marketing solution
? Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities with excellent oral and written communication skills
? High energy and a personality that thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment
? Demonstrated high-level relationship building and negotiating skills
? Expertise in building professional relationships and networking
? Willingness to do whatever it takes including working long hours to produce results in year one
? Self-motivated, driven individual with the desire to exceed set sales goals and expectations.
? Proven creative, innovative thinker with the ability to obtain appointments
? Proven organizational and time management skills -- self-starter
