Spec Analysis: Analyze specifications and business requirement documents to identify costs/risks in software implementation.Design & Build: Architect client agnostic/specific system components that comply with industry standards and fit in the current stack without putting other components in disarray.
QA support: Make sure that Quality Assurance team understands full system wide effect of the components and resolve any bugs in timely fashion.
Implementation & Post-Prod checklist: Support IT Operations for seamless integration of TC/non-TC artifacts. Perform end-to-end post prod checks.
Reporting: Generate ad-hoc/periodic reports by querying back end and dashboard databases.
Technical Skills required:
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming concepts and strong architectural skills.
High level of expertise in JAVA Enterprise and frameworks (Hibernate, Spring) in addition to app servers like Tomcat, JBoss etc.
Demonstrated ability to build and optimize complex queries utilizing relational databases.
Experience building data centric application based on MySQL Server.
Expert at documenting System functionalities/milestones.
Soft Skills:
1. Proactive & Self-starter.
2. Excellent communication skills, including active listening and ability to clearly articulate solutions.
Other:
1. Must be able to monitor systems on occasional evenings/weekends, and participate in software releases which may also be outside normal business hours.
2. Ability to travel internationally via valid US passport.
