What you?ll need:
? 5 years experience administering Microsoft SQL server
? Experience optimizing queries for maximum scalability
? Good team skills for working with the development teams
? Ability to work in a fun, informal, but high pressure environment
? Experience deploying technologies such as replication and log shipping
? Experience with designing and implementing Microsoft BI solutions
Responsibilities
? Daily check of server event logs
? Monitoring of all development, test, staging and production servers
? Working with developers to design and implement data access methodologies
? Work with rest of IT Operations team on disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing
? Index optimization
? DML optimization
? Forecasting growth and implementing additional capacity as needed
? Training and supporting users on Excel PowerPivot
? Design and implement data warehousing solutions
