In this position you will design and develop databases and database objects such as: tables, indexes, triggers, stored procedures and views. This role will be the most senior SQL/DBA position on our fast growing software development team. We are looking for someone sharp who really likes to learn and would like to grow with our young and dynamic company.
A SQL Server Developer/Architect will have experience working with a variety of data models, relational, dimensional, etc., including OLTP & OLAP, and not only understand the differences between these, but have experience working in these environments. An advanced ability to troubleshoot performance problems and data issues is required. Candidate should have excellent communication skills with management, development teams, business staff, vendors, systems administrators and other related service providers.
Our ideal candidate will have experience building databases based on business and technical requirements from the point of requirement to implementation of the database.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned):
Develop creative solutions and write technical design based on the requirements.
Work closely with development team to ensure that applications are written to allow for overall system performance.
Design and develop database schema, functions, tables, stored procedures and ETL.
Assist in tuning and optimization.
Develop and execute unit tests for product components.
Perform peer code reviews and provide feedback.
Promote high quality, scalability, and timely completion of projects.
Work as part of a development team, with an Agile approach to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have technical skills/experience:
Minimum of 5 years? experience in Database Development utilizing MS SQL Server 2005/2008.
Proven track record of experience developing stored procedures, tables, views and functions (writing code).
Detailed understanding and experience with DTS (SSIS a plus).
Proven experience designing and deploying production quality SQL Server databases and code, preferably with large to very large database size.
Experience supporting a 24/7 environment.
Experience working with a large highly normalized database.
5 years of C#, .NET development-this will be a 50/50 mix of developer and db architect.
Ideal candidates will possess (not a requirement but plus):
Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services.
Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment a plus.
Prior experience working with end users/strong communication skills.
Telecommunications background.
Understanding or past work with a Call Center.
Candidate will be a results oriented creative/strategic thinker with strong leadership skills; analytical with attention to detail, excellent organization and time management skills; and strong oral and written communication skills.
UI/UX Designer
We are looking for an exceptional UX/UI Designer to join our team. We need someone who can map out an optimized user flow for several Web-based products that work together, based on evidence and an understanding of our users? needs. You will be responsible for the overall UX strategy as well as the design of screen-to-screen workflows. You should be able to express your ideas clearly to team members from various departments using wireframes and presentations.
The ideal candidate will also be proficient in creating specific UI layouts, graphics and HTML. Proficiency in Photoshop, Dreamweaver and CSS will make you stand out. They should be comfortable in all parts of the user-centered design process including: research methods, user interviews, personas, wireframes, information architecture diagrams, screen designs, interaction designs and UI specifications.
