SQL/SharePoint Administrator Project Leadership Associates

Project Leadership Associates (PLA) is seeking a SQL Server Database Administrator with strong SharePoint experience to join our Managed Services group.
Plan, design, install, and configure, new SQL Server environments on both physical and virtual servers
Plan, design, install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server environments.
Design, implement, and maintain sound backup policies and procedures
Configure and troubleshoot replication, log shipping, database mirroring, and SQL Server active/passive clusters
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve database server and performance issues
Maintain and support SQL Server database instances and applications in a high-transaction and data warehouse environments
Proven success in administering SharePoint 2007 and 2010 application architectures for projects spanning business units, involving multiple resource pools, detailed understanding of SharePoint 2010 platform
Ensure the integrity of the SharePoint environment including implementing application service packs, cumulative updates, upgrades and migrations and performance tuning
Setup and configuration of SharePoint Services
Maintain Web Front End servers, and Application/Central Administration servers
5+ years? experience with SQL Server 2005/2008/2008 R2 as a database administrator.
Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems
Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Experience with designing and implementing High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve database and performance issues
Familiar with SQL Server Reporting Services and Integration Services
Familiar with new features in SQL Server 2012, including Availability Groups and Column Store Index
Certification is a plus; MCTS, MCITP, Microsoft MVP
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
