Sr. Account Executive Awareness
The Sales team at Awareness is seeking an aggressive Sr. Account Executive to join our highly successful team within the Social Media Management Software space. The Sr. Account Executive position is responsible for successfully selling the Awareness value proposition to Enterprise accounts within a named account list and the current customer base.
Penetrate list of named accounts (Enterprise)
Qualify new business opportunities over the phone, plus travel
Close new business consistently above quota level
Become an expert in social media marketing and the Awareness value proposition
Serves as a brand enthusiast for Awareness? suite of products and solutions
Manage follow up activities on highly qualified inbound inquiries
Build relationships with prospects and internal stake holders to grow new business
Work collaboratively with Marketing, Services, and other departments to implement and execute sales strategy as the firm introduces enhancements to existing solutions and or releases new products

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Proven track record of selling to Enterprise Accounts at the VP/C-Level
Experience within a sales team that produces and exceeds their goals consistently. Such experience within a start up environment is highly desired.
Candidates MUST be a Top Producer (as defined by production results that put you at the top 5% of your peers) and / or, Over Quota / President's Club type
Minimum 5-7+ years of selling experience operating within a software, web technologies or innovative online product environment. SaaS experience preferred.
Experienced sales dynamo conducting sophisticated business interactions and initiating relationships
Experience selling to marketers and marketing departments is required. It is assumed candidates have selling experience at the executive level
An individual with a sharp focus on the goals at hand, who will carry the vision of the department forth but also operate within the context of the overall firm objectives
A bright, street savvy and emotionally intelligent sales executive
A high work ethic, energy, passion, sense of humor, compassion, enthusiasm and a record of success is an great fit to our environment
Superior communications skills, well rounded in all aspects of business development methodology with exceptional closing & relationship management skills
Strong skills within the following programs: MS Office Suite, Google Apps, and proficient in Salesforce.com
Social Media experience is HIGHLY preferred
