Summary:
As a Sr. Account Executive, you will be responsible for Develop and increase revenue from prospects and customers through effective sales performance. Manage and deliver customer satisfaction within assigned sales territory.
This job is a career advancement opportunity for Account Executives who have demonstrated consistently superior performance and results over three or more years in an AE assignment. A Sr. AE has demonstrated abilities to carry out strategic major account planning, manage large national or international accounts, and communicate with ?C? level management.
Principal Duties:
Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual assigned revenue target.
Identify and qualify new end user account prospects within assigned territory.
Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual assigned revenue target.

Sell (at both executive and operational levels) storage and Information Risk Management solutions that address end-user business issues.
Understand and present the benefits of ownership of XIO storage information solutions. Develop and present ROI analyses and cost justification models for existing customers and prospects.
Understand in detail XIO?s customer service offerings and sell the benefits to current and prospective customers.
Manage and oversee the quality of evaluation and demonstration systems that are installed within assigned territory.
Coordinate XIO?s resources to expand the customer?s use of XIO?s products. Work strategically with XIO?s National or Government Account Managers to insure consistent and professional representation in the market.
Inform XIO management of market conditions, competitive activity and opportunities.
Produce timely reporting for management as required.
Attend national, regional and local trade shows and sales meetings as required.
Education
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requirements
Eight to ten years? experience in computer and/or software sales.
Working level knowledge of MS Office suite and Contact Management systems.
Strong working knowledge of computer hardware and storage systems
Ability to travel to prospect and customer premises. Occasional (approximately 10-20 days per year) overnight travel is required.
Professional Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
