Job Description:
The Sr. Account Manager, CPA/BPO Sales Support will provide pre and post-sales, technical and product support to the CPA Channel, Business Process Outsourcers, and Accounting Outsourcers. The role works in conjunction with the Channel Sales Manager.
Responsibilities Demo the Intacct solution to sales prospects
Provide the channel sales manager with assistance in sales and marketing activities related to the AO channel
Assist in the development and delivery of channel marketing events
Provide partner training in addition to or in conjunction with the training department
Provide best practices/support to AO partners in answering How to Use Intacct products and services.
Assist partner with using Intaccts service and work with them to increase their utilization across their partner community (i.e. leverage the success with one partner user in a firm with others in the same firm).
Supplement the current support organization to ensure high AO partner satisfaction
Provide support in sale and selling campaigns with a specific firm with the channel sales manager.
Support the development and implementation of new pricing initiatives to the AO partner community
Contribute to high partner satisfaction
Provide complete and timely communications on all key partner activities to the channel sales management
Requirements BA/BS degree, preferably in business, accounting, finance or related fields
Advanced certification or degree in accounting or finance preferred; CPA highly desired
7+ years of experience in channel sales, direct sales, account management and/or product support, preferably with accounting or ERP applications
High business acumen is a must as is successful and proven track record in performance in leveraged sales
Excellent communication and conflict resolution
Ability to manage and articulate complex processes
Strong relationship building skills and overall comprehension of sales cycle
Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
Knowledge of Financial Applications and complimentary solutions
Keen understanding of consultative solution selling skills and knowledge of the service industry
Business development, account management and business planning skills
