Description:
Overture Networks seeks an experienced accounting professional to join its Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team dedicated to support an exciting and growing technology business.
We are searching for an experienced accounting professional to lead the monthly financial reporting process, including preparing the Company's financial statements. In addition, this position will be responsible for various accounting and analysis activities in support of the financial close process. This position reports to the Controller with an oportunity to grow into a managerial role.
Duties:
? Prepare monthly financial reporting package including US GAAP financial statements
? Design and automate reporting process within a newly implemented ERP application
? Prepare financial close GL journal entries and account reconciliations
? Support the annual budget process including reporting against actual results
? Assist financial audits, tax return preparation and other compliance projects
? Backup other financial roles such as treasury and cash management, billing and payables
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications Include:
? Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
? Advanced knowledge of US GAAP
? 5-8 years overall experience with 2-5 years experience preparing financial statements and footnotes
? GL close and account reconciliation experience
? Detail oriented and organized to achieve deadlines
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Ability to act and operate independently with appropriate direction to accomplish objectives
? Advanced Microsoft Office applications experience
Preferred Qualifications Include:
? CPA or CPA candidate
? Public accounting experience
? Experience with ERP reporting
