Job Description
Under general supervision, responsible for the most complex activities associated with general ledger, financial/operating reports, and budget analysis.
Prepare monthly financial statements.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and various analysis worksheets.
Conduct month-end closing process including journal entries, financial statement preparation, and budget to actual analysis.
Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
May lead and coach lower level accountant(s).
Required Skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including strong Excel (macros, pivot tables, linking, etc.) and Access skills.
Requires broad knowledge of accounting practices and principles including the preparation of strategic recommendations to management
Strong analytical, communication and customer service skills.
Strong aptitude for working with numbers.
Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
Required Experience
Bachelor''s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred. CPA preferred.
Minimum 5 years related experience.
