Sr. Ad Operator - UK Say

The Senior Ad Operations role will be based in London and perform all advertising operations central to how we do business. Communication across departments is key to this job and a strong understanding of brand advertising and digital media is a must. The ideal candidate for this role will be a motivated thought leader who can effectively work across departments to deliver trusted performance and innovative solutions that drive increased efficiency and campaign delivery.
Key Responsibilities: - Executing the setup and delivery of all UK campaigns for SAY Media.
- Efficiently troubleshoot technical issues surrounding internal ad platforms and products, including display, mobile, rich media and unique brand products such as sponsored content.
- Have a firm grasp of sales flow processes, and work cross-functionally to lead efficiency projects.
- Support aggressive revenue objectives, while using thoughtful consideration to balance the right business and customer trade-offs on a case-by-case basis.
- Work closely with Production Managers and Media Planning team to ensure that our products and services meet the evolving needs of current and future clients.
- Assist in defining requirements, developing roadmaps, prioritizing features, and launching products, in a clear and coordinated effort with AdOps Management, Engineering, and Project Management teams.
Required Skills/Experience: - Passion for product and the digital advertising space. - 3+ years experience in the Internet advertising industry. Ad operations and/or ad-related technical experience supporting a sales driven organization is a must.
- Direct experience working with rich media, ad serving, and ad network solutions. Experience with one or more Internet ad servers required (e.g. DoubleClick, Atlas, AdTech). Multiple application experience preferred.
- Sound technical knowledge of related systems and an understanding of project management fundamentals, web operations, the online advertising space, and the complexity of technology as it relates to online ads and ad campaign management.
- Internet media operations or site publishing/production experience a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, with a flexible, personable attitude.
- Ability to compile delivery data and analyze performance metrics.
- Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last minute changes.
- Strong decision-making, planning, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and prioritize critical issues.
- Must be able to step back and gather a broad, overall perspective of an issue or problem, and make an informed decision as to how to continue.
- Excellent project-management and time-management skills with proven ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
- Must be able to translate strategy into a tactical plan and implement the plan.
- Familiarity with Flash, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS is a plus.
