As a Sr. Analyst on the Client Analytics team, you will provide a critical link between the most technical areas of the Datalogix organization and our clients / the teams that support them. Advanced interpersonal and communications skills, previous exposure to a broad array of organizational disciplines, and deep analytical insight will all be needed to successfully interface daily with external clients and DLX teams, including: sales, account management, graduate level statisticians, engineers, operations, and product management.
Performance for this role will be measured by the quality of the analytic work, ability to build process and automation around deliverables of analysis, the effectiveness of the communication created to explain analytical conclusions, and resultant internal and external changes produced by the analyses that are delivered.
Primary responsibilities include:
Providing analytic thought leadership across the organization.
Managing a queue of requests and create process for effectively handling them through reporting and automation.
Achieving results that exceed client expectations.
Delivering client and campaign-specific analysis needed to establish (or improve) product value, including: Creation of effective test/control frameworks for both offline and digital campaigns, evaluation of results from offline and online campaigns, troubleshooting underperforming output.
Improving existing work or author original analysis that advance our ability to: Interpret results, deliver more effective predictive models, address previously undiscovered challenges that reduce our ability to deliver outcomes that exceed client expectations.
Creating impactful presentations that: Communicate analytical finding in an intuitive manner, overcome sales objections, provide compelling recommendations that are supported by well conceived, hard hitting and pragmatic analysis.
Effectively communicating findings - establishing credibility and rapport with audiences ranging from analysts to media planners at automotive ad agencies to marketing managers to CMOs & CEOs.
Working with Product Management, R&D, and Engineering Organizations to generalize and scale the most valuable analytical approaches that you have discovered on client or campaign specific analyses.
Skills and Qualifications
BA or BS in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering. Advanced degree in marketing or quantitative discipline highly desired.
4-5 years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably utilizing automotive data.
Knowledge base needed to automate analysis and create reporting (Business Objects, SQL Tableau, etc.) highly desired
Exceptional problem solving skills with unrelenting focus on practical business implications.
Technical expertise in analytic software, preferably SQL, Tableau, SAS and/or R.
Experience working with large datasets (billions of records)
