Advanced interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrated technical proficiency, previous exposure to a broad array of organizational disciplines, and deep analytical insight will all be needed to successfully interface daily with Walmart and Sam?s Club onsite teams, as well as Datalogix sales, account management, graduate level statisticians, database administrators, operations staff, and product management personnel. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast paced and evolving environment.
Datalogix is on the cutting edge in development of measurement methodologies for digital campaigns. This position will be replied on to implement these pioneering methods for Walmart and Sam?s Club for their own advertising efforts. Success will require critical thinking, analytic innovation, self-motivation, enthusiasm and determination. Specifically, you will:
Work closely with internal Datalogix operations and Platform media partners on campaign setup, targeting, and measurement
Work within the Walmart and Sam?s Club databases to access and manipulate transaction data for digital media campaigns
Coordinate internal cross-functional groups to ensure timely setup and fulfillment of campaigns.
Work closely with Datalogix data and measurement partners to determine campaign feasibility and campaign effectiveness
Deliver client and campaign-specific analysis needed to establish (or improve) product value, including:
Creation of effective test/control frameworks for both offline and digital campaigns
Evaluation of results from offline and online campaigns
Troubleshooting underperforming output
Coordinate post-campaign follow up activities
Interact with stakeholders across Walmart & Sam?s Club - including Global Customer Insights & Analytics, Marketing and Media - and provide analytic thought leadership across the organization
Improve existing work or author original analysis that advance our ability to:
Communicate directly to client stakeholder
Develop impactful presentations that:
Communicate analytical findings in an intuitive manner
Overcome client objections
Provide compelling recommendations that are supported by analytical rigor
Skills & Qualifications
4-7 years of marketing analytics experience in database marketing analytics role, including campaign effectiveness analysis. CPG experience and digital campaign measurement strong pluses.
BA or BS in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering. Advanced degree in marketing or quantitative discipline highly desired
Solid verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills, including client-facing experience
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Exceptional problem solving skills with unrelenting focus on practical business implications.
Strong database and/or SQL skills
Experience with a leading statistical analysis software package (SAS, R, SPSS) a strong plus
Online ad/media experience and retail experience a plus
