Sr. Android Developer Etsy
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED As an Android developer, you?ll be joining a small, collaborative team responsible for the end-to-end development of our mobile platform and the long-term vision of Etsy on mobile devices. You will be responsible for working from scratch to help build an engaging Android experience for Etsy's 19 million members and 800,000 sellers.

About the Job
As an Android Developer, you will:
? Drive development of features that impact over 11 million Etsy members
? Take ownership and responsibility of an application with a holistic point of view
? Prototype new ideas and explore new technologies that are at the forefront of mobile technology and commerce
? Assist in coding back-end applications and features
? Work across disciplines with team members representing product, design, and web development
As an Android Developer, you are:
? Proficient in Java and the Android SDK
? Have published one or more applications in the an Android Marketplace
? Well-versed in client/server architectures
? Competent in Android SDK design patterns and API design
? Passionate about end-to-end user experiences
? Comfortable diving into server-side code to address bugs or add features to the back-end API
