Overview:
iCrossing is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst with Agile experience to partner with our Business Intelligence (BI), Advanced Analytics (AA), and Data Collection (DC) business owners, corporate stakeholders, and product development teams to manage the development and strategy of our business intelligence and reporting platform. This is a full-time role, located in our Chicago, IL office, and reports to the VP of Product Strategy.
Responsibilities:
Elicit, gather, and define features and requirements using interviews, workshops, surveys, scenarios, task and workflow analysis
Document features and requirements as user stories and acceptance criteria
Conduct daily agile development scrum stand-up meetings
Facilitate and conduct biweekly agile development iteration planning meetings
Work with business owners to prioritize features based on business value
Grooming of product backlog
Development and management of quarterly product roadmap
Creating biweekly, monthly, and quarterly progress reports for senior executives
Qualifications:
3 ? 5 years experience as an Agile BA, preferably with business intelligence projects
Knowledge of BI, analytics, and pixel data collection, especially as it refers to online advertising. Be prepared to describe how it all works, the industry players, and your experience with it
Experience with BI, reporting, and data visualization platforms
Understanding of application programming, database, and system design. It?s not required that you?ve been a developer, but you must understand how development is done
Ability to run large, technical, multi-day meetings
Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully; a strategic thinker
Creative thinker beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and mindsets
Proven ability to guide and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Travel to other iCrossing offices to work with other team members and departments
Attend industry conferences
Pluses
Specific experience with the Pentaho BI platform
Experience with data visualization company (e.g., Tableau, etc.)
Client-facing experience
Experience in a consulting environment
Experience with Jira (inc. Greenhopper), Confluence, and other Atlassian products
