Provider Services is a part of Greenway's Innovation Team, focusing on PrimeSUITE, Greenway?s fully integrated EHR, practice management and interoperability solution.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst will gather the requirements to help define solutions for the execution and delivery of the Provider Services projects. The Business Analyst is responsible for eliciting and documenting requirements, use cases and designs in a format appropriate for the intended audience. The Business Analyst serves as a source of knowledge for other departments in the company regarding Greenway?s product designs and our users? needs.
Job Description
Lead requirements gathering sessions, as well as manage and document requirements for technical and non-technical audiences.
Work very closely with technical staff to elaborate on concepts to incorporate into user stories and development tasks
Document requirements and system behaviors by developing comprehensive use case scenarios and visual wireframes with tools such as Visio.
Demonstrate strong analytical skills, independent problem solving skills and self-motivate without direction.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Successfully manage multiple concurrent tasks.
Coordinate activities and facilitate communications between different groups.
Drive the requirements process to develop consensus on complex project requirements between all stakeholders and development team.
Act as liaison between functional and technical staff.
Serve as primary contact with the Subject Matter Experts and Program Stakeholders to champion their needs throughout the software development life cycle.
Enable the development team to effectively share and collaborate across other Greenway teams.
Preferred but not required
Ability to develop analyses and models supporting financial, statistical and qualitative data analysis of patient care. SQL knowledge is a huge plus.
Working knowledge of EHR clinical and practice management Billing systems is a plus
Understanding of clinical workflows and exposure to clinical settings is a plus
Experience with clinical terminology vocabularies (ICD, CPT, SnoMED, LOINC) is a plus
Key responsibilities will include:
Facilitation, elicitation, documentation, and change control of business requirements.
Understanding and planning for upstream and downstream impacts of institutional process change across the integrated organization (practice, research, education, and administration).
Identification and monitoring performance metrics, risks, and controls.
Identification, translation and application of best practices on assigned projects.
Contributing to the enhancement of established project guidelines, tools, checklists, templates and agile methodologies.
Designing and developing new business processes and capabilities.
Identifying, proposing and seeking approval for existing or new technologies that support the new business processes.
Possessing strong financial and analytical skills
Demonstrating strong customer focus and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under deadline constraints.
Exhibiting excellent written communication and articulation skills with strong presentation skills is a must in order to contribute to executive-level discourse.
Displaying an affinity for strategic or competitive intelligence and analytics - including data analysis and visualization
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering, operations research, or health related field
5 years of experience in business analysis, quality improvement, and/or system analysis health related field.
Excellent understanding of clinical needs and workflows within the PrimeSUITE EMR is a plus.
Familiarity with software development processes and defect tracking tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills.
Must work well both independently and in a team environment.
Must be willing to learn new skills & tools.
